Creative Process

" It is not the strongest of the species that survives, not the most intelligent, but the most responsive to change."
- Charles Darwin, "The Origin of the Species"

We see the creative process as paramount to our success, whether we are acting as guide, writer, artist, marketing consultant, or web developer.

While it has been said that "there is nothing new under the sun," we define innovation and creativity as the art of combining things in enchanting new ways!

The creative process in a new or redesigned web site is many times an iterative and shared process, requiring thought and two-way communication. The initial stages of development generally require a little more time up front in the planning and conceptual stage, which will pay dividends later.  "Dune" fans will be familiar with the quote "A beginning is a very delicate time."

Significant changes in the latter stages of the development of the site will require redundancy of effort and thus drive costs up. To avoid this, we generally like to partner closely with our clients during prototype development and will seek frequent feedback on design and navigation concepts.  Once the prototype has been approved, project development generally moves much faster.

Whether you have an existing branding scheme or would like creative assistance-  we are committed to coming up with a clean and uncomplicated design with intuitive "one click" navigation that will engage your visitors and help to convert visitors to clients.  We will also work with you to identify and bake in your key words so that your site is search-engine friendly.

If you have specific lead times in mind for project completion, we will do our best to work with you to meet them!

For those interested in the creative process model, there is a great article entitled Seven Stages of the Creative Process - This is one of the oldest of the MG Taylor Models, developed in 1979 by Matt Taylor and Richard Goring as part of an unpublished book entitled, "Designing Creative Futures."
